This is a translation of the original Spanish essay published on 10 December 2025. Its claims, examples and forecasts retain that historical context.

*Archive note: these prompts and generated examples are preserved from 10 December 2025. Product quotas, dates, prices, administrative instructions and statistics are historical content. The images are demonstrations, not official notices or independently verified guidance; the author explicitly discusses the need to check their data below. Spanish quotations and image text are translated, while Freddy Vega's visible English prompts are reproduced as written.*

**Although Nano Banana Pro has been on the market for only a few weeks, it has completely transformed image generation, particularly images that combine visuals and text.** For that reason, as we announced a few issues ago, **we have decided to devote this edition to examples of what Google's model can do, and to encourage you to try it**. Even Gemini's free version gives you two generations a day. It is also available free in NotebookLM, although with substantial usage limits because Google is struggling to meet the worldwide demand for such an interesting model.

We have previously devoted issues to practical examples of the most advanced image models of the time, showing how to use them in politics, government and public administration: [issue 80 on GPT-4o](https://open.substack.com/pub/estrategiabyaleph/p/estrategia-80-la-imaginacion-es-el?utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web) and [issue 101 on the previous Nano Banana](https://open.substack.com/pub/estrategiabyaleph/p/estrategia-101-nano-banana-y-el-nuevo?utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web). We believe these issues are important for setting your imagination in motion and encouraging you to interact with these technologies to get the most from them.

**We particularly liked a comment left on Substack a few days ago by [Carlos Guadián](https://substack.com/@carlosguadian), author of the interesting CluPad newsletter and a guest contributor to [estrategIA issue 60](https://open.substack.com/pub/estrategiabyaleph/p/estrategia-60-roleplay-politico-con?utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web). We agree with him completely**, which is another reason for issues like this one.

[![Carlos Guadián's comment on the importance of examples for discovering useful features.](https://elcontemplador.github.io/estrategia-english/assets/images/e859fa8f-be72-4b01-862a-ff06798f4633_1044x264.png)](https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!qe4b!,f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2Fe859fa8f-be72-4b01-862a-ff06798f4633_1044x264.png)

*Carlos Guadián's comment, dated 26 November, translated from Spanish:*

> I think examples are crucial, above all for getting the most from particular features. Some are very intuitive, and you quickly see the value they promise. Others remain shut away in the cupboard until someone shows you, through an “example”, what you can do with something you had overlooked.

Before showing you ten examples created with Nano Banana Pro, we want to highlight that **its main advantage is that it has solved text almost completely**. We still occasionally find a misspelt word, but that is now the exception rather than the rule. **Using Gemini 3 Pro, it also finds information much more effectively and better understands our prompts.** Although we focus here on infographic-style examples, it also offers tremendous photographic quality, generating highly realistic images and editing them extremely well — something the previous version already did.

The principal drawback we have found is significant censorship of public figures. It is much harder to get it to generate well-known politicians or public personalities using “normal” prompts, unlike open-source models such as Z-Image. Bear in mind, however, that even if you work on personal-image material, most candidates or officeholders you work with will almost certainly not be celebrities. They will therefore not encounter this censorship problem, and you can create images of them as you would of any anonymous citizen.

We will say no more by way of introduction: this is already going to be a long article because of its many images, rather than its text. In fact, we had quite a few more examples and reduced the selection to avoid making it excessively long. We have also left out NotebookLM's dedicated infographic and presentation generation: everything here was generated in Gemini. We will undoubtedly devote a special issue to NotebookLM, one of the best tools available today. **We hope these ideas inspire other potential uses**, adapted to your own needs.

## 1. Quickly generate emergency posters

> Act as a designer of government emergency communications. Generate an information card in a 4:5 format. Layout anchors: a large, legible title centred at the top reading “WEATHER ALERT”. A dark-background area at the bottom for secondary text. Image: a clean isometric view of a city under heavy but stylised snow, in warning colours — orange and grey. Text: render “AVOID TRAVEL” in white Helvetica Bold in the centre. Style: minimalist 3D infographic, highly legible.

[![Generated snow emergency poster with large warning text.](https://elcontemplador.github.io/estrategia-english/assets/images/91b8d49a-daed-4abc-8211-a7321e839b83_825x1024.png)](https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!aLS-!,f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2F91b8d49a-daed-4abc-8211-a7321e839b83_825x1024.png)

*Complete poster text, translated: “WEATHER ALERT. AVOID TRAVEL. Temporary road closures. Extreme caution. Stay informed.”*

## 2. Communicate a new policy's benefits to citizens

> Create a clear, professional infographic explaining the public policy “[Construction of new social-rental housing in Salamanca]”.
>
> Include:
>
> - Main objective.
> - Who is affected.
> - Expected benefits.
> - Implementation timetable.
> - Three key figures.
>
> Use an institutional style and clear language for the general public. Restrained colours, simple icons, modern, legible typography. Vertical format, 1080 × 1920.

It searches for information...

[![Three source-result titles returned for the Salamanca housing example.](https://elcontemplador.github.io/estrategia-english/assets/images/2d515958-0232-4b2c-9fbb-95caae82f624_1082x361.png)](https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!Ds3H!,f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2F2d515958-0232-4b2c-9fbb-95caae82f624_1082x361.png)

*Visible search-result titles, translated:*

1. Salamanca will offer 48 social-rental homes with storage and parking for 2025.
2. In 2025 Salamanca will make a new building with 48 rental homes available to older people or people with reduced mobility — EntreMayores.
3. Applications open next week for one of 55 new subsidised rental homes in Pizarrales — Noticias de Salamanca.

*The screenshot shows source-link icons but does not expose the destinations; full URLs are not reconstructed.*

...and this poster is the result:

[![Generated Salamanca social-rental housing infographic with objectives, eligibility, figures and timetable.](https://elcontemplador.github.io/estrategia-english/assets/images/01c4af84-4e3d-407b-a5f6-b6db4aef3b2f_572x1024.png)](https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!w9PQ!,f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2F01c4af84-4e3d-407b-a5f6-b6db4aef3b2f_572x1024.png)

*Complete substantive text in the generated poster, translated:*

**Public policy: construction of new social-rental housing in Salamanca.** The header displays Ayuntamiento de Salamanca, Junta de Castilla y León, and “Funded by the European Union — NextGenerationEU”.

**Main objective:** increase the stock of affordable public housing to improve access for vulnerable groups and young people, while modernising neighbourhoods.

**Who is affected:** families on limited incomes; young people under 36; older people or people with reduced mobility. Requirements: municipal registration, not owning a home, income limits and registration in the Public Register of Applicants.

**Three key figures:** more than €135 million in cumulative investment by the Housing Board since 1988; 103 new homes with recent European funding; approximately €250–300 in estimated monthly rent for recent developments.

**Expected benefits:** easier access to housing; support for young people to live independently; stimulus for construction and local employment; energy efficiency and urban modernisation.

**Implementation timetable — recent and future milestones:** October 2025, applications for 55 homes in Pizarrales; 2025, delivery of 48 homes in Capuchinos; 2026, start of 33 homes on Calle Túnel de la Televisión. ## 3. Visualise a city's future through planned developments

We found [this prompt shared on X by Freddy Vega](https://x.com/freddier/status/1996371434323529778?s=20), co-founder of Platzi, particularly interesting. It first uses Gemini 3 Pro's capabilities for in-depth research, then offers a visual study that helps us imagine a city's urban future.

[![Freddy Vega's two English prompts, illustrated with imagined Bogotá, Mexico City and Miami in 2050.](https://elcontemplador.github.io/estrategia-english/assets/images/c3a4722d-a1eb-4194-a248-50303196cdc6_888x878.png)](https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!Lq-9!,f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2Fc3a4722d-a1eb-4194-a248-50303196cdc6_888x878.png)

*Original English prompts visible in Freddy Vega's post:*

> 1. (Gemini 3)
>
> Research all the actual urban, architectural and city development projects currently in course or planned for [CITY] that will transform the city from now to 2050. Be specific about them.
>
> 2. (Nano Banana Pro)
>
> Research how these projects look and create a photography of how [CITY] would look according to that description in 2050, understanding that the new is build upon the old and most of the city will keep its original look of today, on top of the new projects. Add a text to the top center of the picture showing "[CITY] 2050" in a style fitting [CITY]. The photo should be realistic, slightly futuristic and taken at street level.

*The accompanying illustrations are labelled “BOGOTA 2050”, “CDMX 2050” and “Miami 2050”. They are generated future scenarios.*

We used the same prompts and process for Madrid. It carried out a long, interesting investigation of all the urban projects already planned and their characteristics. These were the final images it proposed:

[![Generated Madrid 2050 street scene combining older buildings, futuristic towers, greenery and transport.](https://elcontemplador.github.io/estrategia-english/assets/images/9cbfcfad-f357-45bf-bf14-4a39589907d1_1024x1024.jpeg)](https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!hLl0!,f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2F9cbfcfad-f357-45bf-bf14-4a39589907d1_1024x1024.jpeg)

*Both generated visualisations are titled “Madrid 2050”; they illustrate imagined futures rather than completed developments.*

## 4. Generate an infographic showing the main changes introduced by a new law

> Design an infographic entitled “The essentials of [LAW TITLE]”.
>
> Summarise in blocks:
>
> - What changes.
> - What remains the same.
> - Who benefits.
> - When it takes effect.
> - Where to find information.
>
> Educational style, light background, line icons and a clean composition.

[![Generated infographic about the European Accessibility Act.](https://elcontemplador.github.io/estrategia-english/assets/images/273edd4b-3f74-4096-8625-441607d7f5d4_572x1024.jpeg)](https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!Vcq5!,f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2F273edd4b-3f74-4096-8625-441607d7f5d4_572x1024.jpeg)

*Complete substantive text in the generated example, translated:*

**The essentials of the European Accessibility Act — EAA**

- **What changes?** Universal accessibility: key products and services — ATMs, e-commerce, transport, banking and others — accessible to everyone. New technical requirements: common, harmonised EU standards. More demanding requirements: accessibility from the design stage.
- **What remains the same?** Exceptions: it does not affect older buildings, some microenterprises or non-essential products. Scope: the European Union market.
- **Who benefits?** People with disabilities: greater autonomy and full participation. Older people: better access to services and technology. Businesses: new opportunities and innovation.
- **When does it take effect?** Key date: most provisions on 28 June 2025. Transition: an adjustment period for certain products.
- **Where to find information?** European Commission: official website and resources. National bodies: responsible ministries and agencies. Organisations of people with disabilities: advice and information.
- **Additional resources:** Directive (EU) 2019/882 and the European Commission's EAA website.

## 5. Create an infographic about an administrative procedure

> Generate an informative infographic explaining how to complete “[PROCEDURE]”.
>
> Include numbered steps: book an appointment, attend the office, required documents, fees and validity.
>
> Add common warnings: do not attend without a photograph, expiry, and age-based exceptions.
>
> Include a final “Useful tips” block.
>
> Modern administrative style: accessible and clear.

For example, we created an infographic on renewing Spain's national identity card.

[![Generated DNI renewal guide with steps, warnings and useful tips.](https://elcontemplador.github.io/estrategia-english/assets/images/60672720-fce2-470e-9731-0cf1b1d04494_1024x559.jpeg)](https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!H50m!,f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2F60672720-fce2-470e-9731-0cf1b1d04494_1024x559.jpeg)

*Complete generated image text, translated. These instructions are preserved as an illustrative output, not verified administrative guidance.*

**DNI renewal guide: procedures and tips**

1. **Book an appointment.** An appointment is compulsory: website www.citapreviadnie.es or telephone 060. Do this in advance.
2. **Attend the office.** Arrive punctually at the assigned issuing office. Bring all the documentation.
3. **Required documents.** Previous DNI, or a police report if it was lost or stolen; one recent colour photograph; municipal registration certificate if your address changed; fee, if not paid online.
4. **Fees and validity.** Pay the fee at the office, using the exact cash amount or a card. Validity: five years under 30; ten years from 30 to 70; permanent over 70.

**Common warnings:** a recent photograph is essential — do not attend without it. Avoid fines and renew before expiry, up to 180 days beforehand. Fingerprint exemption for older people with justified physical difficulties. People over 70 automatically receive a permanent DNI.

**Useful tips:** request an appointment several months ahead, especially for summer or Christmas. If paying cash, try to bring the exact amount. Fingerprinting is compulsory except for medical exemptions. If the card was lost or stolen, a prior police report is compulsory.

We also made this infographic on municipal residence registration at Salamanca City Council, adding instructions to make it clear and use large lettering for older people.

This is important: here we suggest uses and prompts that we think work satisfactorily, but it is very easy to adapt the request to your particular needs. Experimenting and iterating is the best way to learn how to benefit from these technologies.

[![Generated large-print guide to municipal residence registration in Salamanca.](https://elcontemplador.github.io/estrategia-english/assets/images/778bde6a-ec89-417b-85ac-63a42dd43395_1024x1024.jpeg)](https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!QFzd!,f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2F778bde6a-ec89-417b-85ac-63a42dd43395_1024x1024.jpeg)

*Complete substantive text in the generated image, translated:*

**Municipal residence registration guide — Salamanca City Council. Registering in Salamanca: simple procedures.**

1. **Required documents.** DNI, NIE or passport, original and copy. Signed municipal registration form. Proof of accommodation: title deed, tenancy with the latest receipt, or the holder's authorisation.
2. **Submit in person or online.** In person: request an appointment through the citizen-service office, OAC, or 010, and bring the documents. Online: use the electronic office with a digital certificate or Cl@ve and upload the documents.
3. **Processing time.** In person: immediately, if everything is correct. Online: maximum three months, usually faster.

**Common warnings:** tenancy — a current contract in the applicant's name or the holder's authorisation. Authorisation — essential if you live with someone else, signed and accompanied by a copy of the holder's DNI.

**Useful tips:** check the DNI's expiry date. In person: arrive on time. Online: ensure documents are legible. Consult the council website for forms.

## 6. Make storyboards for videos

For a campaign video, for example:

> Design a storyboard for a political advertisement with a hopeful tone.
>
> Include a visual narrative, an emotional progression and a memorable ending.

[![Nine-panel political-advertisement storyboard titled The dawn we share.](https://elcontemplador.github.io/estrategia-english/assets/images/53668e9c-7d7e-4824-a79f-91115a7c752c_1024x559.jpeg)](https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!Rh_W!,f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2F53668e9c-7d7e-4824-a79f-91115a7c752c_1024x559.jpeg)

*Complete substantive text and sequence of the generated storyboard, translated:*

**The dawn we share — infographic storyboard**

| 3 | 0:57–1:00 | Closing card: “HOPE IN ACTION. VOTE [DATE]. [LOGO/WEBSITE].” Caption: “Vote [Date]. [Logo/Website].” |

Naturally, it is also easy to create storyboards for public-policy videos.

> Create a storyboard for a 60-second institutional video explaining “[REFORM / POLICY / MEASURE]”.
>
> Include:
>
> - Scenes.
> - Message per scene.
> - Shot type.
> - On-screen text.
>
> Restrained, explanatory style.

*The final card repeats “Ayuntamiento de Salamanca”. Its smaller contact lines are indistinct and partly malformed in the generated image; no address or phone number is reconstructed.*

## 7. Design contrast posters for campaigns or opposing policies

> Create a visual comparison poster:
>
> “Two models for a country”.
>
> With a clear division:
>
> - Side A: a negative situation.
> - Side B: a political alternative.
>
> Graphic style, strong visual impact, without caricature.

[![Generated comparison poster contrasting a brown-party scenario with a green-party alternative.](https://elcontemplador.github.io/estrategia-english/assets/images/5b758dd5-888f-4520-b6c8-af1e165337a2_1024x1024.jpeg)](https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!SN10!,f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2F5b758dd5-888f-4520-b6c8-af1e165337a2_1024x1024.jpeg)

*Complete poster text, translated:*

## 8. Generate explanatory infographics based on data

> Create an infographic comparing Spain's autonomous communities, or countries in Spanish-speaking America, showing:
>
> - Main indicator.
> - Ranking.
> - National average.
> - Territorial differences.
>
> Technical style, stylised maps and an institutional colour palette.

[![Generated comparison of estimated 2023 GDP growth across Spanish-speaking America, with a map and ranking.](https://elcontemplador.github.io/estrategia-english/assets/images/61e4444d-8bbe-4399-aeb3-ee9453fe097a_1024x1024.jpeg)](https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!6Csr!,f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2F61e4444d-8bbe-4399-aeb3-ee9453fe097a_1024x1024.jpeg)

*Complete substantive text and numerical labels in the generated infographic, translated without correcting or validating its data:*

**Note printed in the image:** data based on consolidated estimates from international organisations in early 2024; final figures may vary slightly. It reflects a year of widespread slowdown with regional differences. **Source printed:** consolidated estimates based on IMF, World Bank and ECLAC reports from early 2024.

Timelines are another possible example.

> Design a timeline infographic showing the evolution of “[Unemployment] in [Spain] from 2010 to 2025”.
>
> Include relevant political milestones on the timeline.
>
> Analytical, serious style, with clearly visible data.

Needless to say, with examples like these, the data must be checked thoroughly to establish whether the infographic is correct. We have not done so in detail here, because these are demonstrations rather than final versions. In fact, the model retrieved the figures itself as it went along, as indicated at the bottom of the image. We neither supplied them nor carried out the deeper preliminary AI-assisted research that would have been appropriate.

We have checked this in other projects, however, where the prompt determined whether the results matched the real data precisely. Based on our experience of actual use, if a prompt is not working well, it is important to ask the model to pay particular attention to the numbers and check them twice.

## 9. Try changes of appearance for an officeholder or candidate

Starting from any image of the person:

[![Starting portrait of a suited man in a wood-panelled room.](https://elcontemplador.github.io/estrategia-english/assets/images/8abdecc8-6152-4d8b-95b0-58e9fc06cf2d_1024x559.png)](https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!tjok!,f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2F8abdecc8-6152-4d8b-95b0-58e9fc06cf2d_1024x559.png)

> Make a square 3 × 3 grid showing different hairstyles for the man in the previous image.

[![Nine generated hairstyle variations of the man, retaining his suit and setting.](https://elcontemplador.github.io/estrategia-english/assets/images/bb4a14e5-4cf2-477c-b9b3-56dfc5f058be_1024x1024.png)](https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!Iaia!,f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2Fbb4a14e5-4cf2-477c-b9b3-56dfc5f058be_1024x1024.png)

Using the same prompting concept with the image of the candidate we created in Z-Image — see the original newsletter's Tool of the Week section — gives us this:

[![Nine hairstyle variations of a generated female candidate speaking at a rally.](https://elcontemplador.github.io/estrategia-english/assets/images/8634962a-e5c1-4104-8343-a40c9411e30a_1024x1024.png)](https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!3EW-!,f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2F8634962a-e5c1-4104-8343-a40c9411e30a_1024x1024.png)

*The image's caption reads: “Educational example from the estrategIA newsletter: hairstyle variations.”*

## 10. Micro-segmentation of a campaign

> Generate four variations of a “Neighbourhood Plan” poster, changing the background specifically to make an iconic monument or street from each of four different districts recognisable, while keeping the slogan's text unchanged.

We have put them all in one image to save space, but the model can generate them separately if instructed.

[![Four generated Madrid neighbourhood-plan posters with different district backgrounds and the same slogan.](https://elcontemplador.github.io/estrategia-english/assets/images/18937914-e378-407e-b00b-d6f5b79aefd8_1024x559.png)](https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!-hQj!,f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2F18937914-e378-407e-b00b-d6f5b79aefd8_1024x559.png)

*Complete poster text, translated: each reads “NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN — MADRID 2025”, followed respectively by “Centro”, “Salamanca”, “Chamberí” and “Arganzuela”. The unchanged slogan is: “Your neighbourhood, our commitment. Together we make it better!” Each includes a small crest and the letters “PPV”. The generated images are examples of visual variation, not official campaign material.*

**We think this gives you an interesting set of examples with which to explore the model's strengths and adapt them to your needs.** Several cases we had already generated were left out. If you would like more, and to keep feeding your imagination, **the prompts section in the practical part of the original newsletter includes instructions to inspire further images**, as well as a Google Gem in which you need only supply the specific information for it to create useful prompts.
